Hi All,

Wishing you all  Happy Easter. Hope your weekend is going good.

My daughters dragged me out of bed this morning and request I make a quick dress for them 🙂 . I already have a dress I’m working on for both of them but I guess they couldn’t wait. So I decided to quickly put a little something together for them to keep them quiet for a while 🙂

When I got done, they were so happy they couldn’t wait for me to tidy up their hair before taking the photos.

What I did :

1. I measured their waist and the skirt length. I added 12″ to their waist measurement because I have a very little fabric to work with.

2. I cut an elastic using their waist measurement minus 1″  and added it to the skirt.

3. I used a remnant knit fabric and cut out bodice which I added to the skirt to make it a dress.

I ran out of fabric when sewing my little daughters skirt so I over lapped it in front to look like a V shape cut out.

Looks cute on them both. A little summer dress for summer. 🙂

I used the same fabric for a wrap shirt and short Here
