Hi Lovelies, Hope you all had a beautiful Thanksgiving. I made this dress a few years ago, 2013 precisely. It is a self-drafted dress using …
Hey Lovelies, I’m so excited about this top. It’s Vogue 9315. I’ve seen different varieties of this pattern being sewn and I really love them all which motivates me to buy one.
Going through my fabric stack I noticed this African print cotton wax fabric which was a remnant from a previous dress I made and right away I know that was the fabric I was going to use.
Here are what I love about the pattern. First, the long sash which you could wrap around twice in each direction. Second, the peplum sleeves and Third the crop is shaped perfectly.

Checking other blogger’s recommendations, I decided to
Going through the pattern, I do recommend the pattern and I think I could easily turn it into a dress.
I did a sew-along video for the pattern which is the video above.

Hey Lovelies, Hope your weekend is going great. I made this vest last year “yep last year” but I just never got to adding buttons …
Hey Lovelies, How is your weekend. Here is a simple summer dress I made a few months ago. It’s so simple you could easily put it together within 5mins.
I got the fabric from Joann Fabric Here and all I did was just join one piece together and added straps to it. I made a similar dress a few years ago Here
It’s so simple that I plan on making several more of this dress in different fabric designs.

Hello Lovelies, Happy New Month. I hope your weekend is going great.
I haven’t posted for a while because I’ve been busy with other projects. I made this kid’s face mask last year right at the beginning of the pandemic. It’s for kids 2-6 years old.
It was requested by one of my subscribers so, I decided to do a tutorial on it. It’s a bit easy to make. I lined the inner fabric and also added cotton interfacing, wedging inbetween the fabrics for more protection.
I uploaded the tutorial on how to make it to my youtube channel. The video is also added below.
Let me know what you think.

Hey Lovelies, TGIF, how was your week and hope you’re planning a beautiful weekend ahead. This beautiful dress I’m wearing is a modification of McCalls 7630. I initially wanted to sew a top with this gorgeous fabric, then at the last minute, I decided to turn it into a dress.
I did a little modification on it which I explained in the video sew along.

Today’s tutorial is on how to turn your old denim into an origami bag. I intended using denim for the whole bag then I realized I don’t have enough denim fabric.
So, I used some fabric scraps I have in my scraps stack. It’s an Ankara fabric (cotton/wax).

Hi Lovelies, today’s tutorial is on this quick drawstring jewelry pouch. I have several of this drawstring bag at home. It’s very easy to make and it’s also quick too.
You could make it within 10mins depending on the sizes. What I like most about this drawstring bag is that you could use any sheer fabric for it.
Let me know what you think.

Hi Lovelies, TGIF. Hope the weather is treating you all fine and okay. Here in Minneapolis, we’re finally in summer woohoo. I made this peplum …
Hey Beauties, This beautiful dress sew-along video is about a red dress I saw on Fashion Nova. A few weeks ago, I was shopping for my daughter’s junior prom dress and I decided to check the women dresses section to pick one or two dresses for myself.
I saw this simple dress (image below) but I couldn’t find my size. So, I decided I was going to make it. Lucky for me, on one of my trips to Joann Fabric I saw a red chiffon that had one and half yard left on the roll. It was by 60″ and I knew right away that it will be perfect for the dress so I bought it.
Here are the modifications I made:
