Freehand sewing is very good and fast once you get to know the tricks around it. I’m just learning freehand sewing and this dry lace skirt and blouse is freehanded.

I was in Africa last summer and my sister showed me some really good ideas and tricks of freehand sewing (she’s an awesome tailor. If you’re in Lagos and need a good tailor please let me know I will give you her contact). Though it was way too complicated I wish to learn more.  I went with her to the fabric store on one of her several fabric store visits 🙂 and got this fabric for a very cheap price. You can never get tired of fabric shopping 🙂 🙂

If you know any freehand techniques, I will be very glad if you can share it with me.

I paired my outfit with African head tie (gele) and my diy bead necklace for the Easter Sunday service.

Hope your weekend is good so far. Stay blessed and enjoy the rest of the week.
