How you D’oin in my Wendy Williams voice. 🙂 Though I’m not a huge fan of her I find myself watching her show once in a while. lol I know right.
I’m still very excited about our weather here in Minneapolis. We made it to 40 degrees F today and I could see the green grass on my lawn. Looks just like spring already. You wouldn’t believe it but Yes I saw someone on a Tshirt (only in Minnesota). Well, while supply lasts, we’ll be back in the teens next week.
Since the weather is nice, I took a long lunch walk around the U today trying to achieve my 10,000 steps with determination.
I’m wearing a hooded tunic below. I first saw this pattern on Mimi Godwin of MimiGStyles.com and I love the way she styled it. So I got on it and gave it a try. It came out nice. I love the ease of the tunic and the pocket got me too. I’m in love with pockets so I always try to add pockets to all my sewing.
So what are you up to today.
Pattern Review:
Pattern Description: McCalls 7020 – Misses Tunic View E
Fabric Used: Knit
Pattern Size: Size Small
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? I think so.
Were the instructions easy to follow? The instructions were very easy. But I used Mimi Godwin’s tutorial on Youtube Here
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? The pattern is very easy as indicated on the pattern with no difficulty at all.
Pattern alterations or any design you made? I modified the hood adding 11″ to the length to give it a hooded look.
Would you sew it again? Yes, I will sew it again in a different length.
Would you recommend it to others? Yes, I recommend it.
Comment: The sleeves and armholes are very small so if you have a big biceps like me, you might want to adjust the armhole and sleeves to avoid your sleeves getting stuck at your elbow.
Thanks for stopping by my blog today
Xoxo

40 degrees??? Color me green! Good job on taking advantage of the opportunity to hit your 10K steps goal, and stylishly to boot. 🙂
Thanks Ebi, 40 degrees here in January is like hitting a jackpot to the Bahamas. 🙂
