Hi All, How was your weekend? Hope not too bad. My weekend was nice and I was finally able to put my machine together. It’s a Project Runway Limited Edition Brother Sewing Machine. Photo below. I bought it on sale on Amazon 3months ago but couldn’t set it up because I was busy boxing things up to be moved to the new place.

I’m still finding my way around it though but I’m loving it so far. It has a lot of stitches that I’m yet to explore and its very quiet too.

I was searching through my fabrics pile yesterday to see if I have any fabric for throw pillows and I found this gorgeous fabric remnant. I didn’t want to throw it away because it was a little too small for what I needed it for. So I decided to frame it and use it as a wall frame. All done with my girls. If you look closer you’ll see the imperfection touch of the girls but  I was proud that they were able to help so I left it and framed it as it is 🙂

This is a very simple project and you really don’t need a sewing machine to put this together. It doesn’t have to be this big. You can buy any size of frame you want. I got this frame at walmart for $9.95 I love it because it has a plastic cover and not glass.

I do run away from the glass a lot because of the kids. When you have kids running up and down the house jumping, kicking and throwing themselves at the wall you’ll understand what I’m talking about 🙂

I will be doing a tutorial on this using a smaller frame and fabric/s.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today
