TGIF to you all.  How was your week. Hope not too tedious. Mine was a little bit “coocooish” my 5yrs old word for “not too good”. It was my payroll week so all hands were on deck for getting people paid for the payperiod.

It’s the mother’s day weekend so I wish all mothers, grandmothers and mothers to be a Happy Mother’s Day.

This weekend I will be working on a peplum top and  will also be sewing my first pant. 🙂 Wish me luck on the pant, fingers crossed. I wrote about a Tulle Skirt I was working on last week for the PrettyGirlsSew May sew along and to be sincere with you I haven’t started yet. With all the reviews I’ve read on the pattern to be used Simplicity 1427  the pattern is trickier than it looks so I’m already having a pre panic attack. 🙂  But as a good challenger I will definitely get on it to challenge myself so another good luck wish on that. It’s always better to try than not at all.

Oh yesterday night my older daughter brought these 2 candle jars to me, asking if she could  throw them in the trash. According to her their work is done in the house.  So on a second look at the jars I realized I could turn them into a pencil and crayon holders. FYI I constantly pick up crayons and pencils all around the house.

We’ll see what I come up with next week and may be I will do a tutorial  on it to give you all ideas for candle jars DIY.

So do you have any project for the weekend ??

Thanks for stopping by.
